David "Dave" Arthur Skarstad

October 21, 1943 - February 19, 2020

David "Dave" Arthur Skarstad passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in St Louis, Missouri on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathleen Skarstad (nee: Windle). Beloved father of Scott (Sherry) Skarstad, and Brett (Tracy) Skarstad and Grandfather to Kirsten, Erik, Tyler and Hunter Skarstad. Dear brother of Howard (Marge), Vern (Elaine), Sue (Rich) and Marjie. Dave was born October 21, 1943 in Rochester, Minnesota. St. Louis became his home in 1969, where he worked as a Program/Activities Director for the YMCA, and as an Information Systems Manager with Central Mining Equipment. We are thankful he was able to spend much of his retirement in Wisconsin, with frequent visits to Door County and Lake Michigan. We are grateful for the many years of his kind heart and warm smile we were privileged to share. He will be greatly missed by us all. Memorial Service - (Date & Time To Be Determined)
