Lester, Betty E. (nee Smith), of St. Louis, Missouri, was born August 6, 1922, in TBD, to Maxwell P. and Hilma (nee Holmgren) Smith, and entered into rest, Saturday, July 14, 2012, at S. Mary’s Hospital, in Richmond Heights, Missouri, at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 8 days. She is preceded in death by her parents, She is survived by many other relatives and friends. She was a USO volunteer and active member of DAR, Daughters of American Revolution as a 50 year member. Betty was also very proud of being a teacher for the Florissant School District and was also a long time choir member of the Ferguson Presbyterian Church. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service TBA at a later date.
