Mardi J. Hunt (nee Ernst), of Leasburg, Missouri was born September 13, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles and Jeanne (nee McKinney) Ernst, entered into rest, Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 53 years, 11 months and 25 days. She is survived by two (2) children, Katie Hunt, of Sullivan, Missouri and Shane Hunt, of Sullivan, Missouri, her parents, Charles and Jeanne (nee McKinney) Ernst, three (3) siblings, Gary Ernst, of New Douglas, Illinois, James Ernst, of St. Peters, Missouri, and Sally (Anthony) Sumner, of Bourbon, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends. Mardi was a teacher in Sullivan until 2009 and enjoyed cooking, antiquing, hanging with her children and going to yard sales. She is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
