At the visitation, also called a "viewing","wake" or simply "calling hours,” the body of the deceased person is present, so it naturally occurs prior to the cremation. The viewing usually takes place on one or two evenings before the funeral.
Choose a Visitation Service
Many families request a simple visitation service, prior to the cremation of their loved one. This is to give others the time to view the body of the deceased, find comfort in the company of friends and family, and truly say their "good-byes."
We would be pleased to facilitate this event for you.
